Rumors last month suggested that Apple is working on various versions of iPhone 7, one of which might come with the company’s latest dual camera technology.
Now a recent report claims that the highly-anticipated iPhone 7 could be known as iPhone Pro. Apple is reportedly making amendments in name to distinguish the handset from other versions of iPhone 7, which might come with single-lens camera. Just like the company did in iPad lineup with names like iPad Pro, iPad mini and iPad Air.
According to earlier reports from KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi, Apple is working on two versions of iPhone 7, one with a single lens camera while the other will come with a duel lens. It seems as if the company, these days, is considering more towards the name change game. Moreover, we can probably have a look at it later this month.
Apple is reportedly planning to announce its new 4-inch iPhone, which would be called iPhone SE, along with the next-generation 9.7-inch iPad in March, which was earlier though to be branded as iPad Air 3. The device will reportedly be named as iPad Pro.
So it’s quite natural that the company could adopt the same strategy in its iPhone lineup, too!
Though the device will take some time to reach the market, multiple details about iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus are already out. A report suggests that apart from dual camera the devices will include various astonishing features like water-resistant body and no headphone jack. Both the devices will reportedly lose some visible antenna bands in its upcoming flagship.
