Two New Screen Effects
One remarkable new tweak to the Messages in iOS 11 that involves two new screen effects called Echo and Spotlight. As the name implies, the Echo feature sends any selected piece of text to friends by multiplying the message all over the screen. It’s the perfect way to irritate anyone.
The Spotlight feature adds a spotlight to an incoming message. In other words, it is used to draw attention to a photo or message.
New App Picker
In iOS 10, iMessage Apps were not visible to users and taken too much work to get to. However, it’s not the case with iOS 11. The bottom of the screen will immediately display an app dock while opening a conversation. Just scroll to the left side of your device’s screen to view more apps, or simply long-press on the icons row to enlarge the dock. You can tap on an app’s icon to open it or tap the “…” icon to view a list of installed apps. Try using this feature in Messages in iOS 11!
