A recent report claims that Samsung reveals a new Galaxy Note 8 launch date. The company confirms that it’s not bucking the Note trend notwithstanding what happened last year.
The new flagship device was recently reported to launch at IFA 2017, but a new report claims that Samsung Galaxy Note 8 may launch sooner than expected. There’re allegedly two main reasons behind the early release. Firstly, the Korean smartphone maker still has to make up for last year’s Note 7’s hasty release which contributed to the device’s blasting downfall. Secondly, the tech major Apple is also coming out with iPhone 8 this year, which will be the most exhilarating iPhone release in years.
However, iPhone 8 isn’t the only handset forcing Samsung at present. The poor Galaxy S8 sales are also a reason for the early Samsung Galaxy 8 launch date. If rumors are to be believed, the sales of S8 have been quite poor recently. The flagship device did great at launch, but sales are decelerating now.
The South Korean electronic mogul has apparently sold 9.8mn Galaxy S8 entities in the first two months, which is inferior to that of 12mn of Galaxy S7 sold during the same time segment.
iPhone 7 may be a raison d’être why Galaxy S8 sales are dropping. Some carriers are running iPhone 7 promos are seeking to ship more stock before iPhone launches. Such deals put a negative impact on the sales of the S8 device.
There are also rumors that the company could bring the Galaxy Note 7 Fan Edition to some selected markets outside South Korea within this month. At the moment, there is no word as to which markets the device is going to be available at first.
If reports regarding the new Samsung Galaxy Note 8 launch date are true, get ready to try your hands at the new flagship device it may appear in the market in the third or fourth week of August.
