Jio updates its Dhan Dhana Dhan offer for prepaid and postpaid users with new packs starting at Rs. 349 and Rs. 399, doubling the existing data benefits as well as validity. So, what exactly are Jio’s new tariff plans? Let’s have a quick look.
Reliance Jio’s New Tariff Plans
Prepaid Plans: Rs. 349 and Rs. 399
Reliance is adding two new tariff plans for prepaid users at Rs. 349 and Rs. 399 with the validity of 56 and 84 days respectively. The 349 recharge plan will offer 20GB of 4G data with the 56 days validity. There’s no daily cap on data speeds with this offer, but once you exhaust 20GB, the speed will drop to 128kbps.
Then, there’s a new Rs. 399 recharge plan, which is exactly the same as that of Rs. 309. With this plan, Jio Prime subscribers will get 1GB of 4G data/day along with the 84 days validity. In simple words, you can continue with Jio Dhan Dhana Dhan offer under this tariff plan, which gives you 84GB for the entire validity period. All voice calls and SMS will remain free under these new Jio 4G data offers.
Reliance Jio’s new tariff plans continue to start at Rs. 99 and go all the way up to Rs. 9,999. However, Jio data plans remain the same as before with recharge of Rs. 19, Rs. 49, Rs. 96, and Rs. 149. The Rs. 309 recharge plan is still offering 1GB 4G data per month, but the validity period is now 56 days. Apart from this, the daily FUP is still 1GB/day. On the other hand, with the recharge of Rs. 509, you are getting the same validity period as that of the earlier plan, i.e. 56 days, but it essentially doubles the data to 112GB.
Under Reliance Jio new offers, the Rs. 999 recharge offer has a 90 day validity period while the Rs. 1,999 plan has a 120 day validity period. Besides, with the recharge of Rs. 4,999 and Rs. 9,999, you get the validity period of 210 and 390 days respectively, which is more than a year. The telecom operator has kept its other plans as the same, excluding the first recharge benefit which data offering as well as extended validity is now removed.
