Finally, Samsung makes Galaxy Note 8 official. The company has taken the wraps off its new flagship device at a grand live presentation in New York yesterday. It has transformed almost everything about the Galaxy S line earlier this year and those tweaks are giving a turn to the bigger Note model.
As NextGeekers has been continuously updating you with what’s the latest about Samsung’s upcoming device. The company introduced its new device to the whole world in the Galaxy Note 8 Unpacked event yesterday.
The smartphone has managed to entice all the eyeballs in the event with a massive 6.3-inch screen with 2960x1440pixels resolution having a pixel density of 522ppi. Its screen is a little bit taller than the 5-month-old Galaxy S8 that features a 6.2-inch display. Along with bezel-free AMOLED infinity display, the gigantic phone is apt for taking note with the S-Pen, drawing, web browsing, and much more.
The 6.3-inch Galaxy Note 8 has an overall more ‘boxy’ look. It’s surely a callback to that of the earlier Note models and it blends quite well with the curved corners of the display.
Another highlight in the Galaxy Note 8 official specs is the primary dual 12MP camera with f/1.7 and f/2.4 apertures. Its primary camera will sport a 2x optical zoom as well as has dual LED flash. You can use its camera duo to record 2160pixel video at 30fps, 1080pixel at 60fps, and 720pixel at 240fps.

The phone comes with a fair treat for selfie buffs as it features an 8MP snapper at the front, which can record 1440pixel videos at 30fps together with autofocus. It weighs 195 grams which is heavier than that of 22 grams of Galaxy S8.
For the security purpose, Samsung Galaxy Note 8 boasts an iris scanner and a back-mounted fingerprint scanner. It comes packed with 6GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage. Moreover, the expandable memory card is also supported.
There’s a dedicated Bixby voice assistant hardware button on the phone, marking its return to the Galaxy Note series. Talking about its battery life, it includes 3,300mAh non-removable Li-Ion battery.

Coming to the price, one won’t expect Galaxy Note 8 official to be economical. In the U.S., it will be sold by several carriers with different price tags. The South Korean giant is yet to announce the availability of the device in India. However, it’ll available in the U.S. stores on September 15.
