Under the hood, the mobile phone will surprise everyone with Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 and a 4GB RAM paired processor having 64GB internal storage. Diving down the juicy bits of the information, it incorporates a SuperSpeed Dual Pixel Camera sensor having a 12-MP shooter with OIS. On this optics front, the optical image stabilization will have f/1.5 collecting a tremendous quantity of light when the light is dim and f/2.4 aperture sizes. For amazing cinematic montages, you can easily capture Slow Motion videos.
The Samsung leak also disclosed AKG stereo speakers and AKG-tuned earphones are the highlighters. Other features include an Iris scanner, IP68 water-dust resistance and Wireless Charging. Tech lovers desired 3D face scanner similar to Apple’s iPhone X from Galaxy S9 and there has been a considerable debate over the same. But unfortunately, Samsung Galaxy S9 leak clarifies that it is still lacking the logistical ability to do so and probably deliver something similar after a couple of years.
Samsung’s DJ Koh confirmed that the smartphone is scheduled to be launched this February during Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. He acknowledged,
“The Galaxy S9 is on its way, and by highlighting MWC as the launch event that bit of speculation has been controlled. For the record (and with no actual information) my money is on a press launch on Sunday 25th February at around 4pm in Barcelona. As for the retail release, that’s going to be territory-dependant, but I expect some countries to see supplies perhaps as early as Monday 5th March.”
Undoubtedly, Samsung made a remarkable recovery as it resurged after the launch of the disastrous predecessor, Samsung Galaxy Note 7 and it strives hard to retain the momentum in this competitive landscape.
