Hurrah, WhatsApp lovers! Windows 10’s Microsoft store now has the full version of WhatsApp desktop app ready to be downloaded and installed on your systems for free.
Also called “WhatsApp Web,” this app is designed to sync your chat threads between the WhatsApp app on your smartphone and your Windows 10 laptop or PC, enabling you to continue your conversations started on a different device or begin new ones as well.
Earlier, Windows 10 users had to take help of the official WhatsApp client for the desktop version by downloading it from the developer’s website. However, this hassle has now been removed as you can head over to the Microsoft store to get the app for your system.
Everything perfect, right? Not yet! The WhatsApp desktop app has a drawback: it lacks video call feature, which its IM competitors for the desktop offer. Nonetheless, the launch of the app’s full version is sufficient to give WhatsApp users a relief.
