For VLC, the process of using the PIP mode is a bit tricky. First off, tweak the app’s setting menu and enable “Play videos in background” option. Start playing a video in the player and tap the three-dot menu button at the bottom of the display. Select Picture-in-Picture option. Now, you are free to use any other app simultaneously while watching your VLC video in a floating window.
